THEON CROSS
Theon Cross is a visionary musician who has revolutionized the tuba, bringing it back to prominence in contemporary jazz. His innovative approach combines technical mastery, deep musical knowledge, and a broad vision, redefining the tuba’s role in modern music. Drawing from diasporic bass culture, Theon has transformed the tuba into a 21st-century sound system, creating complete soundscapes with its full sonic spectrum.
His music, deeply rooted in his African-Caribbean heritage, spans various genres and styles. A Guildhall School of Music graduate and Tomorrow’s Warriors alumnus, Theon is a key figure in the UK jazz scene. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Shabaka Hutchings’ Sons of Kemet, Nubya Garcia, Moses Boyd, Ezra Collective, Cassie Kinoshi’s SEED Ensemble, and grime star Stormzy.
Theon’s debut release, Aspiration (2015), earned him nominations for Jazz FM and Parliamentary awards. His 2019 album, Fyah, topped the UK jazz chart and received critical acclaim. His latest album, Intra-I, explores themes of self-reliance, heritage, and identity, offering a message of peace and self-reflection in challenging times.
PEDRO RICARDO TRIO
Known for taking risks with the records he spins, Pedro Ricardo relies on a strong, organic groove, bringing a sense of freedom and intensity to the dance floor through the warm rhythms of Jazz-Fusion, Disco and Funk hand in hand with a kind of House and Techno that never takes off from its soulful tradition. Producing through different aliases, he's been releasing music in various labels for several years. His highly anticipated debut album “Soprem Bons Ventos” is out now through Soundway Records.
DOPPLER LIFE by WHYNOTPIPI
Doppler Life" is an art installation by Graphic Designer whynotpipi, the creative alter ego of Pedro Pereira. In this interactive exhibition, we observe a series of augmented reality illustrations depicting the artist's daily life. Here, the mundane acquires an almost spiritual dimension. Objects and moments become a temple through which hymns to nostalgia echo, providing hope for better days.
In physics, the Doppler effect describes the phenomenon observed in waves emitted or reflected by an object moving relative to the observer. As a sound approaches, it increasingly fills our perception, dissipating as it moves away. It is in the trace of what was once present, not yet past, that we suspend ourselves in reflection on this transitional state, seeking answers to guide us into the future.
After all, what is a trace if not a path to be followed?

ANDRÉ CARVALHO X MINUS *
André Carvalho and Minus, founders of the Portuguese record label that's rewriting the rules of music. Jazzego, a term cleverly inspired by the Portuguese word 'jazigo' (meaning tomb), stands as a symbol of their mission: to bury the egos of the music industry and dissolve the rigid boundaries between genres.
Their DJ set will be a reflection of this philosophy — a seamless blend of influences, sounds, and styles that define the compelling essence of Jazzego. Get ready for an experience where no genre is sacred, and creativity reigns supreme. Let the music speak, and the egos rest in peace.

CLAIRE ROUSAY
Claire Rousay is known for challenging conventions in experimental and ambient music. She incorporates textural found sounds, drones, and candid field recordings into music that celebrates life's banalities. Her music is detailed and emotionally affecting. The album "Sentiment" meditates on loneliness, nostalgia, sentimentality, guilt, and sex, guided by delicate musical gestures and vulnerability, synthesizing disparate influences. Created in various private places, the album feels personal and introspective. Rousay’s vocals and guitar take center stage, with intimate lyrics contrasting with mechanical vocal effects, expressing a powerful desire for connection and a sense of separation. Her spare guitar playing and slow tempo convey resignation, drawing on her explorative musical past.
From math-rock and emo outfits to evangelical worship bands, Rousay worked as a percussionist before focusing on solo work. "Sentiment" incorporates these experiences. Rousay explains the emotional manipulation in evangelical rock, feeling a version of that in her shows now. The album captures moments of her life living alone, learning guitar, and reconnecting with pop music. Rousay seeks to communicate feelings clearly, with pop being the medium this time. Sampled conversation fragments add intimacy and specificity. Her ability to evoke pure feeling from sound comes from her embrace of pop forms, vulnerability in field recordings, minimalistic arrangements, and innovative sounds. "Sentiment" is anthemic and personal, melancholic, and sensual.

LAURA MISCH
Laura Misch is a South-London-born saxophonist, singer-songwriter, electronic producer, and field recordist. Her current work interweaves her three main voices: saxophone, singing, and synthesis, in new music that will be performed and released in 2025. Expanding her electro-acoustic palette and drawing from a lineage of female pioneers in electronic music, Laura has been developing a one-woman show that invites deep listening and contemplation through songs and sonic environments inspired by nature.
Earlier this year, Laura released ‘Sample The Earth,’ an acoustic sister-album to her debut album ‘Sample The Sky,’ an ode to care, connection, and listening to the natural world. She went on to perform at sold-out shows at EartH Hackney and Union Chapel and released a live concert film.
Her debut album grew out of her previous self-produced EPs ‘Playground’ (2017) and ‘Lonely City’ (2019), with collaboration at its core. Laura opened up every aspect of the creative process to her South London community. Working with eco-social design studio Holobiont, she planted the album back in the environments it was inspired by, hosting ‘sound walks’ to invite deep listening, playing saxophone while walking in Sydenham Woods, and an ambient saxophone ‘cloud bath’ held in a cavernous disused railway waiting room in Peckham, designed to soothe listeners.
In recent years, Laura has performed at genre-spanning venues such as The Barbican, Berghain Kantine, Melkweg, Paradiso, Vega, Royal Albert Hall, Roundhouse, and festivals like Rally, We Out Here, All Points East, Latitude, Womad, Eurosonic, SXSW, and the prestigious Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals.
She has been consistently supported by BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2, as well as plays on NTS and Worldwide FM. Recently, she hosted a BBC Sounds ‘Music Life’ episode interviewing Suzanne Ciani and others on music, nature, and technology.
Laura has been featured in publications such as Composer Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, Nowness, The Guardian, The New York Times, Loud And Quiet, Crack, The Fader, Wonderland, Clash, Varsity, NME, and The Quietus.
